We fund over 3,000 scientists, doctors and nurses based
in hospitals, institutes and universities around the
UK – 90% of the population lives within a 30 miles
radius of a Cancer Research UK funded site.

Our annual scientific spend is more than £250
million. We rely almost entirely on the generosity of
the public and companies such as your own, to help raise
the funds that ultimately translate into live-saving
advances.

Raising funds is a year round activity, and our fundraising
programme includes family events such as bike rides,
walks and runs that take place during the Summer and
Autumn. Whether your company joins in because of personal
motivation or as a corporate team-building exercise,
everyone benefits. If your company enters one of these
events then our dedicated fundraisers will help every
step of the way!
Payroll
giving
Not only is this completely tax-free, you
don’t have to get physical either! A donation
of £10 actually only costs the donor £7.80,
and the Treasury contributes the balance. Payroll giving
is cost-effective and important.
